This is how it went. I dropped by dexter’s house to study with him and jennifer. It started out pretty alright. We had our notes, attempting questions etc. It lasted bout half an hour. Jennifer hooked up the karaoke and dexter got into singing mode. even i joined in for a few lines. We sucked big time but who the hell cares.

After a while we went out to eat dinner. Jennifer suggested we go to this place called Ji Deshi. Jennifer ate hokkien mee while me and dex ate a freaking watered down bak kut teh. everything was alright till we saw this sign…..

That sign got us riled up. I reckoned they were bullshiting. Jennifer was confident they really had horse meat. So i gave jennifer a deal. That she goes and ask them whether they have satay kuda. if they do i’ll belanja 10 bucks worth. So she went.

Jennifer: Kuda ada ?

satay lady: ada ada.

there goes my money. we ordered and waited. after a while….

The black ones are the horse meat. They are not bad actually. Dexter liked it. So, given time….

There was one image playing in my mind while i was eating the horse satay. Couldn’t really brush it aside really…this is it…

A Levels – a review after 6 months…

               Right guys, as stated in the title, this is a review of A Levels after its to late to back out 6 months. This review is based on the author’s personal experiences and the author is not liable for any illness, stomach upsets or pregnancy caused by reading this article. 

               Alright here is your review…..A Levels is f***hard. I am forced to study in hours which are usually spent sleeping or doing other ‘assorted’ activities.

          Well, its not all bad stuff though. Contrary to popular belief it is much easier than other pre U programmes. This information is picked up from my physics lecturer who believes STPM is the best and all of us in KDU pre U Dept can go fly kite. He also knows Kungfu by the way.

Right..enough of fooling around….the truth is…A Levels is not that bad. So please join KDU College and remember to name me as your referer because then I will get RM200 from the college be honored.

          In an unrelated news (i am deviating from the main topic as usual), my losing streak to Jonathon Easaw in pingpong continues. For those of you who  dunno Jonathon, he is the biggest person in class but with the smallest brains and serves as everybody’s punchbag. For the record, Mr  Jonathon is an idiot and I am a sore loser.      

        In yet another unrelated news (more deviation), my housemate got mugged last week. The muggers did’nt managed to take his wallet though.This is the 7th case of mugging in my area. Georgetown is a very dangerous area at night.

         Before, i sign out i wanna say this. I will beat u at pingpomg someday Jonathon.And Rahman.And Ken. And Dexter.And Jothum. And everybody else who beat me (which is the entire college). Sigh…I suck at pingpong.

Hello there. Its been a while since i updated. Almost 10 months in fact. I am very sorry. I was lazy busy . So far the year 2008 has been a year of surprises. The ruling coalition got a bashing in the election and are left to lick their wounds. The component parties are trying to woo back voters by rebranding themselves. MIC for example. For those of you who are not from Malaysia, dunno malay or simply have no credit in Bahasa Malaysia, baru means new.  So what is so new about the Pundut Chronicles. To tell the truth, absolutely nothing. Its the same old fella (namely me) who is going to be writing it. Everything is going to be the same old bull crap. It is the same story with our political parties. Hehe, pun definitely intended.

People are dying and the Minister is joking….

Suddenly a lot of ppl I know are dying. After attending 2 funerals separated by as many days, i was flabbergasted to learn I missed 2 more funerals of ppl i know TODAY. If I attended them it will be 4 funerals in as many days. WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?

I know ppl die but, this is crazy. First Umesh passed away, then Kevin’s dad passed away (whose funeral i attended today), then i heard another guy whose identity shall be protected died and now my neighbour’s sister died of cancer.

Sitiawan is dying. Pretty soon it will be an empty town.

Its pretty hilarious. For those who don’t follow the news this is not the YB’s first blunder. It is pretty amusing if you read his articles in the Malaysian Bar website because of the lawyers’ replies rectifying his mistakes rather sarcastically.

Of bra, a overhead bridge and a lawyer’s son..

This morning was not my typical morning. I entered my class and saw Sachin, Chia Ching, Ang (the 1 who feared 3) and some others talking about something i presumed was very interesting.I only managed to hear snippets of words like “mad man” and “shit”. When they moved out of the class announcing they are going to the overhead bridge, i followed them. Apparently there was a mad man in the overhead bridge and something is very interesting there.

We all moved out the school compound with me and Sachin acting as everybody else’s “insurance“. We reached the bridge and sure enough and there he was, sitting and staring at everybody passing by him. We went up the bridge and suddenly stopped in our tracks.

THERE WAS SHIT IN THE RAILINGS.

If that was’nt bad enough there were 2 bras covered with shit. THE FELLOW APPARENTLY USED THE BRAS TO WIPE HIS ASS. Sachin is actually convinced it is not the guy in the bridge who did it but rather another mad man trying to frame him up. Excellent theory Sachin.

And later during BM period (which we got free despite me doing my homework) we were suddenly talking about our plans after SPM and our career choices. Somehow our conversation turned to Law. I said that I am going to do Law and suddenly Samuel bellowed seriously…

What i found most celakafying is that i feel like i just joined high school and i already have to talk about colleges and tertiary education. haizz..time flies to fast…

Nurin was kidnapped in a ‘pasar malam’ 200m away from her house. She goes there every Monday. So whose fault is it. The parents?

Some madman kidnaps a girl in a residential area and it is supposed to be the parents’ fault? What is the use of the authorities then? The IGP should know better than to blame the victim’s parents for his own failures.

Welcome to Pundut Chronicles

    First of all, let me welcome you to Pundut Chronicles. For the record, I am Ramanan. I am the sort of guy you can expect to see wide awake in the middle of the night watching EPL matches yet sleeping soundly in Physics class at 9.00 a.m. in the morning (thats probably because I was watching EPL matches all night anyway). I too am a an unlucky guy whose T-shirt business touched some sensitive nerves and came crashing down exactly one day before I was due to make my 4 digit turnover.
     Hearing all this, it may not come as a surprise for you that in the past 3 weeks I sat for the last school organized exam of my life but I didn’t prepare a damn thing for it. Instead, like a bum, I spent my time coming up with ideas and formulas why stupid less knowledgeable people make more money. Somebody had to stop me but a TIME magazine’s article stating that 4 out the 5 richest man in the world are dropouts is not helping me at all. Let me give you a situation. In the exam hall, Glenn was sitting in his desk revising (and I was supposed to be revising too). Now, Glenn is the smartest person in my batch. Before supporters of J-Cyn and Jee Yan get all riled up, let me clarify my statement by saying all 3 are pretty much the same when it comes to theory. But when it comes to practical and getting your hands dirty, Glenn is in a totally different league (no offence intended).

      Now back to the story. There was Glenn sitting down quietly and immersed in formulas and I, like a pompous ass, marched straight up to him and said “Glenn, keep it up. Study the way you are studying now and you will definitely become a great engineer”. That was alright. The messed up part is when I concluded “And then I will hire you”. Glenn just looked at me and smiled, and I felt downright stupid. True Story.
